In the Studio
Musée de Vernon
What did studio work mean to open-air painters? This enlightenment of the creative process unveils the impressionists’ studios, which were at once sites for creation, living quarters and a setting for artistic encounters. It should be noted that the museum is situated just a few kilometres away from Monet’s studio-home in Giverny and that of Bonnard, in a hamlet on the right bank of the Seine.
