Edith GALLOT

A 2015 graduate of the Esam Caen Cherbourg art school, Edith continues to develop her artistic research around a central theme: the phenomenology of perception. Through installation, drawing, and video, she seeks to stimulate the viewer's awareness by disrupting their relationship to space and prompting them to question their own presence. The artist explores the anthropomorphic nature of architectural and natural landscapes, seeking to reveal how these influence and shape our emotions. By working with the lines of force that compose an environment, playing with confusion through the interplay of concave and convex, tangible and immaterial forms, the artist offers an emotional experience of space through a sensitive and tense installation
