Emmanuelle VO-DINH
After working as a performer with choreographer François Raffinot, Emmanuelle Vo-Dinh founded her company, Sui Generis, in 1997 in Le Havre. She was an associate artist at La Passerelle, the national theater in Saint-Brieuc, and then at Le Triangle in Rennes, where she developed her own creations while also initiating projects that invited other artists to participate. In 2012, Emmanuelle Vo-Dinh was appointed director of the National Choreographic Center of Le Havre, which she renamed Le Phare (The Lighthouse). With Solenne Racapé, she created the Pharenheit festival in Le Havre and Normandy (last edition in 2021). She currently leads the Pavillon-s project, based in Rouen and Andé, which supports her creative and performance work and focuses on developing projects that invite other artists to participate. She has choreographed more than twenty pieces which have been performed notably at the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris, at the Avignon Festival and at the Théâtre National de Chaillot, as well as abroad.
