Guillaume AUBRY

Trained as an architect, I co-founded the Freaks agency in 2009. I then joined the La Seine postgraduate program at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, where I developed artistic research on our intimate relationship with the landscape. My career has been punctuated by numerous residencies: NID National Institute of Design (Ahmedabad, India), LaSalle School of Arts (Singapore), Triangle-Astérides (Marseille), La Box (Bourges), Casino du Luxembourg, ACSL (Yerevan, Armenia), NES (Skagaströnd, Iceland), Plateform (Vaasa, Finland), Villa Medici (Rome, Medici program), A l'Oeuvre at Lafayette Anticipations, Finis Terrae (Ouessant, Brittany), and most recently in Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego, Patagonia), supported by the CNAP. I have also just defended my thesis entitled Chasing the Sun and I am currently teaching spatial design at the School of Decorative Arts.
