Guillaume LEPOIX

•Graduated in 2012 with a DNSEP (National Higher Diploma in Visual Arts) from EESAB Lorient, visual artist Guillaume Lepoix approaches the concepts of science, myth, and landscape as material to explore, striving to develop his research in resonance with contemporary ecological and artistic issues. Encountering a territory and its inhabitants is often the starting point for his work, generating new avenues for experimentation. He also seeks to intersect with other fields of research, drawing on the natural, physical, and human sciences for his references. While relatively open-ended, his creations frequently question the subtle relationships that can exist between the digital and natural worlds. Guillaume Lepoix has been developing his projects through artist residencies and exhibitions in France and abroad since 2012.
