I wish to encounter the territory of Athis Val de Rouvre in a physical and sensory way, harmonizing with its rhythm, its light, its colors through an interaction across the four seasons. Intervening in the different seasons will give rise to a hybrid body of work, where the vocabulary of summer coexists with that of winter, the motifs of spring with those of autumn. My conceptual approach implies a genuine permeability between the mediums I use. My research will inevitably lead me towards writing, performance based on serial gestures, and the creation of small sculptural objects. These other pieces may be published. My artistic research will be accompanied by theoretical explorations of our ways of collaborating and composing with the constituent elements of what we call nature, of the anthropization of living things and animism—concepts that will permeate my entire project.
