The limiñanas

Since forming The Limiñanas in 2009, Marie and Lionel have turned the "best-kept secret of French rock" into a trademark recognized on the international scene, a mark of quality fueled by both fuzz guitars and longaniza (a local culinary specialty), an iconic duo with prestigious and eclectic collaborations, from the unclassifiable Catalan Pascal Comelade to the eccentric Anton Newcombe of the Brian Jonestown Massacre, by way of DJ and producer Laurent Garnier or legends Peter Hook and Iggy Pop, to name just a few. The Limiñanas' journey is anything but ordinary. Heroes of a French garage psychedelia, discovered by Chicago rock labels, the two fifty-somethings found success later in life, after more than forty years devoted to music.
