In the Land of Water Lilies

The "In the Land of Water Lilies" exhibition brings together six 4-meter-high tapestries featuring details from Water Lilies paintings held in museums across five continents. These works were created thanks to the participation of a community of over 10,000 people. The exhibition invites visitors to immerse themselves in a sensory world reminiscent of Claude Monet's Water Lilies, coinciding with the European Heritage Days and the closing of the Normandy Impressionist Festival. The path is crisscrossed with knitted elements evoking plants, adorned with crocheted flowers. From children to seniors, this participatory, intergenerational project brought smiles to all its participants, who were able to contribute to the creation of these works.
