Blue sky, yellow light, so far so good

To coincide with the Normandy Impressionist Festival and the 1st Évreux Contemporary Art Biennial, the Maison des Arts invites two artists to create installations within its spaces from June 23 to August 24, 2024: Marie Heughebaert, a ceramic sculptor, draws inspiration from the aesthetics of urban construction sites. Louise Gügi sculpts, installs, constructs spaces, and reinterprets objects using diverse materials and artisanal techniques. Through their materials and colors, their works, presented in their respective dedicated spaces, converge and resonate with one another, creating a rhythmic and poetic duet in the heart of the galleries. The opening will take place on Friday, June 14, at 6:30 p.m., and a free concert by the trio JATA will be offered in the Square George-Brassens.
