Rouen au temps des impressionnistes

08.01 — 11.07

2-hour guided tour on foot in Rouen following the tracks of Impressionists and the places that inspired great painters.

The city of Rouen has offered many subjects to Claude Monet, Paul Gauguin and Camille Pissarro at the end of the 19th century, such as the Seine, the Cathedral, the docks... Discover the city at their time: the southern side and plants, the place de la Haute Vieille Tour and the Halles, the exhibits places and the workshops where Claude Monet painted the cathedral.
Step in the foot of impressionist painters and let you submerged by charming moving clouds, by the sky of Rouen, by water reflections on the Seine and by lights change on the facade of Notre-Dame's cathedral.

After the tour is organized an impressionist meal in a restaurant located in the old-town centre with a menu inspired by recipes that were in Claude Monet's kitchen notebook: kir made with cider, egg with a grout of smoked bell pepper and bacon biscuit, stir-fried chicken chasseur with pommeau© and dark-chocolate creme. Wine, water.
