For its fourth edition, Normandie Impressionniste is reinventing itself based on a new formula imagined by Philippe Piguet, its commissioner general : "A new day, a new colour". Indeed, it is through the prism of colour that Impressionists have seized their daily life and subjects linked to the evolution of the society in their time. The edition 2020 will be the occasion to appreciate the diversity of interpretations around this central theme.
18 silkscreen printings have been selected among the creations of students from two art schools : ESAM Caen/Cherbourg and ESADHAR. This selection was made by a professional jury (including P. Piguet) and shows new approaches that reveal the impressionist movement remains contemporary.
