Camille Moreau-Nélaton (1840-1897)

A Female Ceramicist in the Era of the Impressionists

07.11 — 11.15

This is the first monographic exhibition devoted to this ceramicist who made of her art far more than just a hobby, as practised by ladies at the time. This artist, who was recognised as being on the same level as the greatest ceramicists of the late 19th century, created works tinged with Japanism, which were sought out by collectors throughout the world.
