The comedians of the company called 3coupsloeuvre offer to read literary texts, poems, short stories and songs by telephone, as part of the exhibit Les villes ardentes
. Listen to the texts describing living conditions of urban work at the end of the 19th century. What do authors say about factories, workers, child work, work penibility, strikes and popular revolts...? Emile Zola, Victor Hugo, Arthur Rimbaud, Jules Vallès... are interested in the appearance of this hard-working population.
What about tomorrow ? How will be work in the future ? As "Science fiction release alternative visions of contemporary work", we have selected a few stories by the Bal des actifs, a group of authors (éditions Lavolte) and asked students of the Master Métiers de la culture et du livre (Master of cultural and book occupations) of the university of Caen to write 6 short stories. They were able to do so during a writing work managed by Belinda Cannone.
We do not forget the little ones who could listen to stories, fables and counting rhymes by Anne Sylvestre, Roi des papas, Jean de la Fontaine or the Petit Prince.
