Starting at 10pm, the Waveparty by the choreographer Emmanuelle Vo-Dinh will be occupying the Aître Saint-Maclou, an exceptional ossuary and a unique site in Europe, with over 600 years of history. Conceived as a joyful, energising ceremony, this Waveparty of 50 uninterrupted minutes will invite its participants to cross through different bodily (and mental) states, along a musical and choreographic journey made up of eight different energies.
They are entitled Vagues [Waves], Totem, Sacre [Rite], Flower Power… making all of us ready to enter into the dance, and the trance, with a DJ, musicians and dancers, for a grandiose dance which will be collective, slow, airy or syncopated. A joyously festive, salutary and welcome moment. This event will be preceded by several free workshops open to everyone in July and from 23rd to 27th August at the Historial Jeanne d’Arc.
**The participants of “Wavetimes” should show their workshop reservation tickets to enter the Aître on Saturday 27th August, at 9pm (preparation and makeup), using the Rue de Martainville door.
Opening of the doors at 9.50pm for the audience.
