Contemporary Art

Plein Soleil

08.26 — 08.28

This capsular exhibition presents a selection of artworks from the collection of the Frac Normandie around the theme of the sun. For, our star is a recurring motif in the history of art, and is still widely used by contemporary artists from every generation. To round off this selection, the Frac and Normandy Impressionist are inviting the artist Azul Andrea to deploy an artwork in the exhibition. Placing her artistic action in the revelation of the poetic potential of the simplest things, she has produced survival blankets featuring blazing suns or reproduced the plays of light on the surface of water, in the elementary forms of her sculptures. This is a free exhibition soaked in sunlight.

A yoga session will be provided on Saturday morning, followed by a guided visit to the exhibition while breakfast is being served.

In partnership with the Frac Normandie.
