Nymphéas noirs

The musée des Beaux-Arts invites Fred Duval and Didier Cassegrain alongside its exhibits. They are the authors of the comic book Nymphéas noirs, which is an adaptation of the eponym novel by Michel Bussi.

"Tranquillity is suddenly disturbed by an unexplained murder in Giverny, the village where Claude Monet painted a few of his most beautiful paintings. Three women crosses the path of the detective sent on site to solve the case. But who knows best what happened? The little girl who is fond of painting, the attractive primary school teacher or the old lady that stays at home to spy on her neighbours? All to the more that there is a rumour spreading, according to which highly valuable paintings have been stolen or lost, including the famous Nymphéas noirs."

Around thirty original plates of the comic book have exceptionally been lent to the museum by the authors and private collectors. They are exposed in a drawing cabinet.
