ANTOINE+MANUEL
Coming from the first generation of graphic designers to master computers without being dazzled by technology, Antoine and Manuel offer a truly groundbreaking style, experimenting with typography and illustration in a multitude of forms. While Manuel, who studied product design at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs, enjoys playing with computer tools, Antoine works with brushes, pencils, and markers. Together, they invent a universe where dreams, the strange, and the surreal invite sensation, emotion, and touch. As they continued their experimentation, they quickly felt the need to move beyond 2D to 3D and, more recently, to light and movement. In 2014, they created gigantic animated murals for the graphic design of the Cartier exhibition at the Grand Palais. This project launched them into animation and monumental work, which subsequently led them to Melbourne, Adelaide… and soon to the Corneille Chapel in Rouen!
