Albâtre is a large-scale video and sound performance in which video artist Jacques Perconte virtuously explores the transition between the visible world and digital synthesis, creating a phantasmagoria of textures, colors, and movement. Composer Carlos Grätzer, for his part, has brought together ten instrumentalists and recorded sounds to create a bespoke soundscape of impressive energy. It is also a performance for the 2E2M ensemble, bound by the implacable metronome-like rhythm that ensures perfect synchronization.
