Jonathan Bertin

To mark the 150th anniversary of Impressionism, photographer Jonathan Bertin presents a sensitive and inspiring portrait of Normandy, the region where he grew up. The artist uses photography not to freeze a moment, but to capture its movement. He brings the fluidity of painting to life personal moments, scenes of everyday life, and urban or bucolic landscapes. This artistic project took shape during a journey in Normandy, following in the footsteps of the Impressionists, from the banks of the Seine to the Alabaster Coast, passing through the Côte Fleurie. The Impressionism exhibition is presented by the Normandy Regional Tourism Committee, in partnership with the City of Rouen and the Normandy Impressionist Festival.
