Cinema programme: Stalker

To dive back into Andrei Tarkovsky’s legendary film, its historical sources of inspiration and its contemporary heritage, the Omnia République Cinema in Rouen is organising a weekend around Stalker in collaboration with Benoît Deney.

At the Cinéma Omnia République

31 May at 7.30pm: projection of Stalker, preceded by a presentation, in partnership with the Maison des Arts of Grand Quevilly

1 June at 4pm: projection of Kenji Mizoguchi’s masterpiece, Tales of the Pale and Silvery Moon after the Rain, preceded by a presentation

2 June at 10.30am: a talk followed by a surprise projection about the contemporary resonances of Stalker

At the Maison des arts

3 July, the Maison des arts de Grand Quevilly will screen Alex Garland’s film Annihilation in presence of the artist Shanta Rao
