As the cradle of Impressionism, Le Havre greatly inspired the artists who were drawn by the exceptional light of its estuary, the intense activity of its port and the pleasures of the seaside. The guide will go back over the transformation of several major sites which, from the 19th century to the interwar period, acted as a theme for such painters as Turner, Boudin, Monet, Pissarro, Vlaminck or else Dufy.
