While the whiteness of snow was a source of experimentation for the Impressionists, that of the ice rink in Rouen has become the medium for a luminous, interactive installation conceived by Miguel Chevalier, a pioneer in digital art. In Digital ParadICE IA, the artist has created a colourful, dynamic piece which metamorphoses according to the skaters’ choreographies. This original installation is on the crossroads between art, sport and technology. This artist features in museums throughout the world, where he uses IT as a means of expression and produces in-situ works that provide a new vision of each site.

This project is a partnership with the Métropole Rouen Normandie and is part of the Cultural Olympiad programme.
