From July 3 to November 22 at the MuMa Le Havre

All over Europe, artists who placed the question of light at the heart of their preoccupations adopted this subject, in a mixture of fascination, curiosity and nostalgia, as can be seen in the 150 works by Monet, Pissarro, Steinlen, Bonnard, Jansson, Grimshaw, or de Regoyos... which have been brought together in this unique exhibition.

Ardent Cities. Art, Work, Revolt. 1870–1914

From July 11 to November 22 at the Museum of Fine Arts of Caen

By paying attention to the depiction of scenes of work in towns between 1870 and 1914, the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Caen is broadening the perspectives of impressionist art, which also took an interest in the society of work and was sensitive to the realities of its times.
