From July 11 to November 15 at the Museum of Fine arts of RouenThis exhibition provides an exploration of the life of a central figure in the impressionist movement: the coal magnate François Depeaux (1853-1920), a visionary collector and the first to acquire one of the series of Cathedrals which he saw being born under Monet’s brush.
From July 3 to November 22 at the MuMa Le HavreAll over Europe, artists who placed the question of light at the heart of their preoccupations adopted this subject, in a mixture of fascination, curiosity and nostalgia, as can be seen in the 150 works by Monet, Pissarro, Steinlen, Bonnard, Jansson, Grimshaw, or de Regoyos... which have been brought together in this unique exhibition.
