Contemporary Art and Installations in the Public Space

Hopeless Sky, Flora Moscovici

06.10 — 09.22

Print
Flora Moscovici has adopted the floor of Le Hangar à Dirigeables in Écausseville, a magical site, which is unique in Europe, and created a gigantic colourful painting, which visitors can contemplate while gliding in an Aéroplume. In this atmospheric approach to colour, painting literally becomes a landscape to be flown over. The raw beauty of this airship hangar is stunning. It is in this concrete cathedral, built between 1917 and 1919 for military purposes, that the association Aérosculpture allows the public to fly in an Aéroplume. This magical sensation is heightened by the intervention of the contemporary artist Flora Moscovici, famous for her delicately colourful, highly impressionist interventions in public spaces.

An exhibition in partnership with the Frac Normandie et with the collaboration of the Communauté d’Agglomération du Cotentin.
