The 6th edition of the festival unveiled by its director

In the heart of Claude Monet's gardens in Giverny, facing the famous Water Lilies, Philippe Platel, general and artistic director of Normandie Impressionniste, takes the floor to present the 6th edition of the Normandie Impressionniste Festival.

In this highly symbolic place, where the history of Impressionism still dialogues with Monet's living landscapes, Philippe Platel unveils the main lines of the 2026 program and the artistic directions of this new edition.

This edition, conceived as a tribute to the centenary of Claude Monet's passing, highlights the Asian scene, emerging French artists, and a focus dedicated to the Netherlands, enriching artistic dialogues and opening new perspectives within the program.

Exhibitions, installations in public spaces, performances, educational projects, conferences: the program unfolds throughout Normandy, taking over museums, gardens, heritage spaces and unexpected places, as close as possible to the territories and their audiences.

Designed to be accessible to the widest possible audience, the festival also affirms a strong dimension of openness, with a large part of the events being free and open to all.
