Daniel Buren – Plantations, site-specific works, 2026
Daniel Buren, an internationally renowned French artist, uses his vertical white and colored stripes (8.7 cm) as a visual tool to reveal spaces in site-specific interventions. In his works, like Claude Monet before him, he explores color, light, space, and perspective to question perception. He thus seeks to raise awareness of the interaction between the artwork, the site, and the viewer, inviting the public to see things differently.
For this carte blanche at the Museum of Impressionisms in Giverny, Daniel Buren proposes an original creation in dialogue with the garden and the museum's collections.
