Jérémy Liron – Hortus Conclusus
Jérémy Liron's painting explores geometry, architecture and landscape from simple forms and refined compositions, inviting us to look at everyday spaces differently.
At the Duchamp Gallery, some forty works present gardens and enclosures, opening up perspectives where the wall becomes a garden and the enclosure a world. For this exhibition, the artist has also selected works by other creators, both past and present, with whom he engages in dialogue: Pierre Buraglio, Louis Hayet, Camille Corot, Valérie Sonnier, Persian miniatures, an antique rug, and drawings by Fernand Deligny. The Hortus Conclusus exhibition thus creates a vibrant display, interweaving personal works and references, where the landscape becomes a way of telling the story of painting itself.
