Mika Ninagawa – Exhibition: Eternity in a Moment
One of Asia's most renowned photographers and directors, Mika Ninagawa emerged from the "girlie photography" movement of the 1990s. She was among the first Japanese artists to celebrate the emancipation of young girls.
His "pop" style, with saturated colors and unusual images, constitutes a true ode to nature.
His approach to colour and landscape is fully in keeping with the spirit of Impressionist Normandy and with the homage to Claude Monet around the theme of the garden, which has nourished his work for many years.
The festival offers an open-air exhibition of photographs taken on site, in the heart of the roses, at the Grand-Quevilly Rose Garden.
