Musical Walks in the Pays d'Auge – Music on the Water
As part of the Normandy Impressionist Festival, the Promenades Musicales du Pays d'Auge present Musiques sur l'eau (Music on the Water), a traveling musical walk combining music, heritage, and landscape. The route unfolds in Quetteville in several stages: first at the wash house, then a musical interlude in a private garden at the foot of the church, and finally a concert in the church itself. Performed by six musicians (string quartet, piano, and voice) led by cellist Héloïse Luzzati, founder of the Cité des Compositrices (City of Women Composers), the program highlights works by 19th- and 20th-century female composers. Histoires d'eau (Water Stories) explores reflections, fluidity, and aquatic landscapes, resonating with the Impressionist aesthetic.
