Noémie Goudal – The Story of Fixity

Noémie Goudal is a contemporary French artist who blends photography, installation, and illusion to create images that exist between reality and imagination. She constructs sets inspired by natural landscapes, which she then photographs, producing worlds that are both dreamlike and unsettling, questioning our perception of the landscape.

Invited to Le Portique – Centre régional d'art contemporain du Havre, she continues her research on nature and how landscape has been represented and interpreted throughout history, from Antiquity to the industrial age, up to the time of Claude Monet. At Le Portique, she deploys images, volumes, and installations to extend her artistic experiments.
